I am looking at selling my boxford cnc lathe . I have had it for over 7 years . I bought it in its original condition and then converted all electronics and stepper motors . I have made hundreds of parts on it with a home made tool platton and tool holders . I also have an 8 station turret that can be bolted back on . The machine has the wiring to add the turret . It has a speed detection which can be used for threading with the right software although I never had the need to use it . It has always been used with Mach3 . The only drawback is that there are no limit swithes .
I have not used it for 2 years because the computer running it fell over , but it was working fine up to that point .
It is heavy enough to need 2 people to carry it but small enough to sit on a desktop . I have machined a lot of brass with 1mm DOC and different plastics with deeper DOC. It holds a good tolerance and is very repeatable.
I will add some pictures as soon as I have figured out how to do so .
