Thread: Small CNC Lathe

  1. #1
    Good morning,
I am in search of a decent CNC lathe. something along the lines of the emco compact 5. Must be single phase. I have cash waiting for the right machine and able to collect within 10 days. the machine must be a runner as i need to put into production straight away. but please show me what you have. if its a project then i may be interested for a future project.

    Regards,
    Elliott Hill

I have an Emco PC 120 that has been retroffited to Mach 3 that I will likely be selling soon. Would this suit?

Hi, give me a number and Ill call you. Numerous options for timing etc. Am based in Uxbridge / Ickenham - UB108TE, West London. The machine was delivered to me by Landy Man, estimated weight is around 600 kgs, so fairly moveable. Its currently on a set of skids in my garage as I move it around as I need to move stuff.

Yep, it runs off single phase. Ill do some measurements tonight however the spec for them is widely available. From memory, around 2m wide, 1.4m high in about a meter deep but that is just from memory.

I'd be looking for around £3k. The 120 is a very good and accurate CNC lathe. European made quality, lots of cutting videos on YouTube showing them working.

It's got full floodcoolant which I've now managed to get working via Mach3.

Only niggle I have is the VFD is tempremental, replacement is just over £100, can take this off the asking price if happy with it like this.

    Thanks.
