Hi all, I've been asked to have a look at producing some brass plaques that will get embedded into paving slabs. What would be a good hard-wearing and free-machining grade of brass to go for..? I understand that brasses alloyed with zinc are harder wearing, but I also don't want to go too silver in colour.

    Thanks for your advice..!
