    Hi Guys and other humans,

I need a bench drill. I've heard Fobco and Startrite are good.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the Fobco Star and a Startrite Speedway? They look really similar but the Fobco Star seems to go for crazy money sometimes.

Also what is the difference between the Startrite Mercury and the Speedway? Mercury seems more common.

I did have an Axminster drill but I think it got the weeble-wobbles after using it as a spindle sander. Tried to remove the chuck but couldnt and ended up unusable.

Right, well I just bought a Startrite Speedway. More than I planned to spend by good drills seem to fetch a high price. Lets hope it's good!
