Not been on the forum for quite a while now, too many projects and not enough time. Building/repairing/renovating a few old boats (still only managed to get one on the water), and converting a minibus into a camper van alongside other things seem to have left me little time to post. I have an old SCM120 3ph commercial router, but it only has about 900mm travel in the cross axis and I need 1200mm, so the SCM is on the BAY and I have purchased (not yet collected) a used Chinese 8x4 rack and pinion (X&Y) machine with a SYNTEC EZ4 controller. I will post other details in the relevant sections. Geoff.

Thanks. I do not know the age of the "new" machine, but it looks to be in quite good condition. It is servo motor driven and has a 9kw HSD 24K ATC spindle, an eight station tool changer, a 6 zone vac bed with a powerful vac pump and a Syntec controller that appears to have about 2.5gig storage capacity. I do not yet have a post for alphacam, but am really looking forward to getting it back here to have a play. Geoff.
