I am making small side tables out of 12mm MDF with oak veneer on both sides, realise an up or down spiral cut will not get a good edge on one of the sides.

Looking at 6mm compression and straight 2 blade flutes.

These seem to be very expensive. Does any one know of a supplier who does them at a reasonable price?

I know not to use HSS. Only carbide. I have purchased up /down cut ones (that are very cheap and lasted well). Just cant find compression ones.

    Thanks.
