Thread: Introduction

Hello,I just signed up and from my quick look around there seems to be a lot of knowledge to be gained here.I have a small moving table router more or less completed mechanically and I will be trying to deal with the electrical challenges in the coming days and weeks.
I have quite a few years of programming and operating industrial CNC routers and started building my toy when it became crystal clear that it would allow me to get a lot more done and with more accuracy than continuing my hobby with hand tools.I look forward to learning a bit more while maybe adding anything relevant from my previous activities if it helps somebody else.My plan at present is to use LinuxCNC as I have been using Ubuntu/Mint for eight or nine years.I gave up on Windows when Vista was let loose on an unsuspecting world.

    Welcome to the forum.

How I wish I had using Ubuntu for that many years!
