I very much doubt Chester would tell you.

Most of these machines, especially from the bigger suppliers, all have slight variations. I know a couple years ago I looked at something G0704 like, and out of all the different machines around that size I looked at (around 8 to 10 IIRC), they all had slightly different specs. Some were obvious things like different spindles, and others were more subtle like axis having slightly different amounts of travel.

Iv msged Chester 3 or 4 times without reply. It's the bolt holes for the bearing mounts that's most important. If these are the same as the grizzly I know I can bolt the kit on. I can work around the rest

Don't bother with the Chester imo.
    1. The Y travel is way short at 155mm.
    2. The taper MT2, no thanks!

A better variant is the AMAT25LV from Amadeal. R8 taper avail which is best imo. Has more powerful motor, belt driven, higher rpm. If you're going to spend around £1200 then for me that's the one to get (and I am).

There's no guarantees the G0704 kit will fit any of the variant mills I'm afraid but the one I've mentioned has the best chance.

Realised after I posted it. Not much activity on this site most of the time.

Did the kit fit the Champion then mate? Or you go with something else.

They look pretty smart his kits.
My AMAT25LV should be here on Friday.
Just about to start re-building my Seig X2 so it can make a kit for the 25.
It's a bit worse for wear atm and I want it bang on.
Then it's a case of measure up, order some double nut screws from China (re-shim them), make some mounts & get some Oldham coupling inserts from RS and make some hubs.
What could poss go wrong!!! lol.

If it goes belly up I'll have a word with Arizona :D
