    Ade,

You might find that repairing it is cost prohibitive. If I was in your shoes, I'd consider getting a replacement Servo Drive / Motor (400 W) from a range of different suppliers and changing out the Z axis.

The Y Axis motor is difficult to work with (space). The X is fairly easy but if it was me, Id want to keep X and Y the same motors. The Z axis is obviously very different and the motor bracket is fairly easy to modify. You can easily take a plate and modify and then once your machine runs, mill a new one or give me a drawing and I can do one for you.

    Hi Charl

Good to hear from you, yes your correct I have swapped the Y with the Z to give me identical drives on X and Y it also makes the panel look good. Do you know of a suitable package to replace with.

    Cheers
    Ade

Ill post some links later tonight when I get home. A quick search for 'servo drives / motors' on this forum will also yield some results. Choice then to either buy locally or abroad, pending cost / time / support requirement.

    So, some options are:-

    Zapp - Drive - https://www.zappautomation.co.uk/ele...range-344.html
    Zapp - Motor - https://www.zappautomation.co.uk/ele...ors/smh60.html
and of course you need some cables too.

http://www.dmm-tech.com/ http://www.dmm-tech.com/Dyn2_v2.html and matching motor, will also need cables.

http://www.jmc-motion.com/ - have emailed you some further info there.

Loads of other options if you look around.
