Thread: new to CNC

Hi all, I'm new to the CNC world so please be gentle.

Well, that's not actually true as I owned a Marchant Dice 4 axis machine a few years ago but only got as far as putting a pen in the chuck and writing help before selling it.

I run a PCB assembly company (Anode Electronics Ltd) and for years we've subbed our ABS box cutting out to a local company. We now have sight of a pretty large contract that would justify buying a machine and doing them in house.

I will put a thread in the section about machines but I'll be looking for advice on which machine etc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    cheers.

    John.

Welcome John and lucky you dodged a bullet selling the MD well done.

Any questions no matter how dumb you think just ask.
