I just checked Lavor VAC 20 on ebay (£64,99). Do you use it with a Vortex?

Lidl have one in now for under £40, use with a vortex ash collector and you should be good.
You think that's too expensive? You're not a Model Engineer are you? :D

    Hi Neale,

In answer to your query -----

One of the problems with the cyclone is that - if it picks up any greasy dust, it sticks to the wall of the cyclone and kills the effect. Also it does not seem to separate fine MDF dust very well.

The actual setup is one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plastic-C...sRqlROdF1V_Abg and an ash can which I bought some time ago for £10 - ish. Then there were a couple of 3D printed hose adapters and blanking plates.
If it all fell to pieces, I wouldn't put it at the top of my list to repair it. For what I do a straight vac cleaner would be enough.
