What do I need?

Hi All,
Only just joined this forum with the sole reason being that I am totally confused with the amount of information on CNC machines available Chinese, German, Sweden, Self Build, D.I.Y, Amazon, eBay, Axminster, YouTube.
All I need is something easy to use and basic to get me in to understanding CNC machines, I can always upgrade later when I understand and know what I'm looking for.

You have come to the right place.

To get you going it is best to mention what type of materials you want to cut at what size speed and at what precision.

Oh and budget... budget is an issue picking the right cnc machine :-).


Mean while have fun reading all infos on this forum it has helped me a lot too.

The types of material I need to cut would be wood and PVC
each being about 6 - 10mm thick and about 250mm x 200mm
