Thread: Now then

Hello all, I came across this forum by accident and thought I'd join as there seems to be lots of good stuff happening here. I've been designing stuff (loudspeaker cabinets mostly) to be made on CNC for a number of years, but now find myself needing to get my cutters dirty as it were and do it for real myself to cut down prototyping time and do one-offs. Being an engineer I'd love to build a CNC router myself, but it a) needs to be accurate (0.1mm every day) and b) needs to be quick to do as it'll have work to do right away. Otherwise it'll be trying to source a reasonably priced reliable 1200 x 1200 or 1500 x 900 ready built one.
