Hi, I've been in aerospace manufacturing for 6 years now as a CNC programmer, predominantly in the field of thin walled monolithic components up to 3 metres in length, all on high speed 5 axis machines. I have experience in aluminium, steel and titanium, and at the minute I'm back in University doing research into advanced aerospace manufacturing and aerospace assembly using robotics.

I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, with experience in design, FEA, CFD, and a whole bunch of other stuff in CATIA V5 and Solidworks, but I cut my teeth on Mastercam.

I'm a regular on some other CNC forums, so I figured I may as well join one closer to home. Hopefully this board won't see too many of the closures and layoffs that other parts of the world are experiencing.

    Anywhoo, nice to be here!
