    Hi simple question probably easy for you guys, I need to reverse my stepper motor direction and I know its a matter of swapping wires around but I'm not sure which ones , so some help would be gratefully appreciated

    My wiring set up is the one on the right below 21 kg

    Just swap one coil pair, say A- and A+.

    Thanks for the reply.. I'd like a confirmation for this from someone with a few more posts than 2 before wiring up a very expensive controller .. no disrespect intended picclock

    Yes, you can just reverse one pair of windings, you can also do it in software by inverting the the dir pulse.

    thanks Clive I'm experimenting with GrBl panel atm couldn't figure out how to do it in the software lol I'll swap A+ to A- on your advice :)

    God advice :) I'm nearly there just got to fit and configure the hard stops - case up the electronics - fit it to the lathe and I'm ready for a test run
