    Anyone know if the collects on this will hold something like a UNC 1/4 tap?

    Says metric on the listing but not sure if these collects could accept something just a bit off..

    Any ideas?

    not 100% sure but if you look at the pic of the collets, one is m6-8 which should cover the shank size for 1/4 unc but don't quote me on that

    My guess is the collets are not a fixed size, but they're what limits the torque, hence the recommended thread sizes.
