Hi all i started this spring, with building my own CNC router. Gantry is cut out off 25 mm aluminium, bought at the local scrapyard, Dry cut on my table saw with a woodcutting blade. Sometimes it was one step ahead 3 step backwards. But slowly i am getting to the end off the project, I started with a ordinary grinder - but YIKE dust everywhere, So atm i am rebuilding with a spindle motor -VFD - and trying to make a dust collecting system. Yike i couden't find out how to place pictures in this topic - so i put them in the photo album : Photo album is deleted and pictures is moved to this thread

    Welcome to the forum JanBo.

It looks like an interesting build from your photos http://www.mycncuk.com/album.php?alb...chmentid=26582 and obviously successful in that you are actually cutting things!

Unfortunately browsing through your album is spoiled by the way the software displays them on my PC with a stripe of "trending . . ." through the middle. Screenshot for Lee:

Attempts to use the CNC router - and the newest work on the machine - switching to a spindle and a frequency converter - and trying to make a dust colllecting system - at a standstill atm waiting for the frequency converter to arrive
