New member in the east mids, I've got an old Archdale 18" Manual Mill very similar to the one pictured below.

I'm converting it to a 3-axis for now, and will hopefully add a 4th axis in due course.
Have got NEMA 34's, closed loop drivers, Ethernet SmoothStepper & MB3 Breakout, & the plan is to use Mach4.
C3 1605 ballscrews in hand I got when the price was right so hopefully they'll be up to thejob.
I'ma mechanical engineer by day so comfortable with the mechanical aspects of the conversion but still picking up on the controls as I go.
