Hello to everyone

After lurking around for a few weeks, I have plucked up the courage to join the forum!
I have retired from work, and after using a lathe and milling machine in my little workshop at home for a few years, I have decided to try my hand at CNC work.
Joining a forum is like being a new kid at school, because although I can handle a lathe and milling machine, I am totally new to CNC work, and know absolutely nothing about it (apart from what I have picked up from this site) and this makes me aprehensive about asking questions because I am sure you will all have been asked the same questions many times over in the past.
I won't bore you all with questions here as its for new member announcements, so I will post a couple of questions in the right category.
I look forward to getting to know a few of you in the future
