    Hi!
I’ve dabbled with cnc at my local makerspace and love it. Unfortunately, the makerspace had to close, so looking to build my own machine with little prior experience.

Welcome to the forum. No shortage of information here. Best advice is to read a few build logs before you commit to a design and don't buy anything until you have the design well worked out.
An optimist says the glass is half full, a pessimist says the glass is half empty, an engineer says you're using the wrong sized glass.
