    Hi to you all,

Visited the site a couple of times as new to this CNC lark and hoping to pick up a bit of knowledge as embarking on my Rockcliff build.

Got the Rockcliff plans a couple of weeks ago and decided as I wanted
to be able to cut metal I best go for the CM plans with the linear
bearings. If anyone can anyone advise of companies within the UK that can supply
the parts, especally the guide rods and pillow blocks. I know of
Marchantdice and frankly the prices scared me so if anyone knows where
    I can shop around?

    Cheers. Shamus

If they frightened you off, don't go anywhere else.

Have a Google search there is cheaper prices/places, eBay is a good place to start you can pick up second hand stuff and new stuff to.

Have a look on ebay.com as you get more choice from people selling in the USA who will ship to the UK. Also have a look at the MYCNCUK ON THE BAY ! Shop, get in contact with them I know they sell a few things on there. Don’t think they have got any pillow blocks listed at the moment but I know they can get them.

They also sell motor mounting kits now and loads of other stuff.

I see what you mean. I must have been looking in the wrong places. Had a quick look on the Zapp site. Can't see how they do it for those prices.
