Thread: Including pics in a thread

Havent mastered this process so maybe someone can help.
I can see how to upload and attach pics, Seems a bit long winded, but I can manage that, but then a bunch of pics appear after the post.
But if I am writing a screed and want to include a pic within the text then what is the process.?

That's a good question
Did that work?
Seemed to.. All I did was write the screed with a few line returns where I wanted the picture and then put the curser where I wanted the picture and hit the 'insert image' button.
If you edit an existing post the pictures will appear wherever the "ATTACH=CONFIG]28256[/ATTACH" entries are placed (I've removed the leading and trailing [ ] brackets to make it show up as text for this example). You can move, copy, paste as much as you like.Last edited by Kitwn; 01-06-2020 at 06:43 AM.
An optimist says the glass is half full, a pessimist says the glass is half empty, an engineer says you're using the wrong sized glass.

Not sure. Maybe it's the image format. Are they all JPEGs?
Upload an image
Write some blather. Upload another
More blather.
Seems to work for me. Each time I want to add apicture I'm hitting the insert image button, then using 'from computer', 'basic uploader', 'browse', selet an image then 'Upload file(s)'.
That's funny! I added an image while editting to check the tab titles, deleted it and now it's turned into an attachment I can't get rid of.Last edited by Kitwn; 01-06-2020 at 01:52 PM.

All were Jpegs
Wonder if it has anything to do with windows version or maybe browser
Will have another go later .
Wonder if Admin might want to clean up my messy posts a bit

I've just found that under 'settings' there's a list of attachments and I've managed to delete the unwanted one from above. Not sure how images in-line with the text and images stored as attachments can be moved around. Maybe somebody else will be able to enlighten us both.

What size are the files because if too large they won't upload. I get this all the time when In take pictures with my phone which takes Hd pics which give largee files size, so i just load them into paint and resize then save.
