    hi my name is sean roberts and i am in the process of building a cnc router about 2ft by 3ft,have orderd a electroics driver pack from mike beck of the usa rural router.as yet have not got a computer or decided on round rail or linear gudies.any help or dos and donts would be appreciated.

    Hi Sean,

    Welcome to CNCUK...

    Do's and dont's... Do make it big and ugly (you can use it to help tidy it up later), don't use unsupported rails if you want to do any real cutting...

    What sort of projects do you have in mind?
    (by the way i'm not really qualified to help - i've not finished building mine yet)

    hi tom thanks for the info .dont laugh i havent decided what im going to do with my machince yet once its built of course
