    I have a 20 mm hole I I want to use 10mm bolts through them is this the right one for the job ?

    Don't think so. The 20 or 25mm refers to the length I think.
    -use common sense, if you lack it, there is no software to help that.

    That hole is way too big for a 10mm insert, have a look @ this

    Not tried to find a 10mm one but you can get an idea of the wall thickness. If you have a lathe you could make your own, i did so for my window project, Tappex sent me 12 samples and i just copied them(they seemed expensive @ the time and i needed 48)
    Obviously you would have been better finding your insert before drilling the hole.

    The project is a bit different, but I sort of worked out a work around.
    I'll be using some 20mm steal tube with 5mm wall and then a thread 10 mm fix insert.
