    Hi All

Please excuse my lack of knowledge.
Can anyone help me? I am trying to connect my XSY-AT1 to a Gecko G540 using a relay to control the motor with MACH3.

My problem is trying to work out the correct connections on the VFD.
See attached photo. I wish to connect the outputs from the relay to For and DCM which are not labelled on the XSY-AT1. It looks like I should use X4, can someone verify if I have this correct.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Greg

In my video series here I talk about wiring this exact inverter up for external control. See episode 2 & 3. You will have to fast forward through some other bits to get to the section that might help you.

    Hello

    Thank you for your reply.
What a great job you have made, you have paid a lot of attention to detail, design and build quality.
You have confirmed that x4 is forward and x5 is reverse.
    I wanted to be sure.
I am going to be using a Gecko G540 the XSY-AT1 and MACH3to control a Denford Easimill.
Looking forward to being able to machine my own parts when I need them.
I have a TVR Griff which needs some decent parts instead of the TVR quality ones.
I will let you know if all goes well.

    In the meantime.
    Kind Regards.

OK no problem. Good luck with the TVR. My friend had one years ago and it was a great car but developed issues so he sold it.

    Thank you.
Regarding TVR's you do have to love to own them.

    Again many thanks.
