My first post since joining this forum, here goes.....

Im just setting out building my first CNC router table. All was going well until I decided to fit it out with a water cooled spindle & VFD. Watching the pennies I opted for an Ebay 1.5Kw Water Cooled Spindle and an unbranded XSY-AT1 VFD, both have reasonable reviews!

    Firstly:
On powering up the VFD i get two codes displayed. 19103 then 13001 if anybody could tell me what they mean I would be very grateful as I can not find any information on this.

    Secondly:
What seems to be the age old questions, the VFD settings. Has anybody got the same configuration(below) as mine and are willing to share their settings?

    The motor is 220V / 400Hz / 1.5Kw
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CNC-1-5KW...V/180730060933

    The VFD is XSY-AT1 / 1.5Kw max current 8A.

I've attached a photo of the parameter sheet as the code numbers seem to be different depending on which brand VFD it is.
The codes I have changed are
    P01 Reference frequency - 400
    P03 intermediate frequency - 200
    P06 Maximum Operating - 400
    P07 minimum operating - 0
    P21 revolution for 50Hz - 3000
    P26 working frequency - 400
    P78 main current overload - 6000

The motor runs with the above setting but when I started to increase the speed there was a small wisp of smoke from connector plug or thereabouts. I stopped the motor, and after a check with an ohmmeter reckon I saved any damage.

Any advice most welcome on my setting much appreciated as I'm starting to disappear up my own tailpipe with this.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Nick

This is not the exact same driver, but has some similar features and may be of some help.
I have it in PDF format and don't know how to attach it here so I added it to my dropbox

    Hi regpye

Thank you for sharing your settings. They will come in handy. I am quite surprised on the lack of information on these Chinese VFD's

That is such an exceptionally helpful video. Thank you! Is your settings spreadsheet available for purchase anywhere?

I go into a bit more detail in episode 9 and you might be able to screen grab some stills. I think I created a pdf and uploaded it on this forum but can’t remember if I was going to do it or actually did it ! I’m away from the pc (on my phone) so will have to wait a bit.

I just watched #9 earlier today. So much good info there. If you do find that pdf, I’d appreciate a link. No rush. My motor doesn’t show up until next week.

Did you figure out why you are/were getting the 19103 code? My vfd has been working well for about 6 months but now throws that code on start-up and none of the buttons respond.

    Thanks!
