Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and I really need some help please. I’ve bought a Chester Champion V20 milling machine and I’m going to pick it up next week - providing Boris lets me. It’ll be just me and my brother and a Focus estate. It’s going to be too heavy for us I imagine as we’re both in our 60s now, so I’m going to have to strip it down. I’ve never owned a milling machine before but I do have an engineering background so I’m capable with the spanners. How should I do this do you think? Remove the table? Remove the column? Remove the base? All three?? How would you advise me to proceed? Cheers everyone. Peter.
