    Hey guys
I'm looking to build large CNC mainly for plywood cutting - I don't have access to any precision tooling (mills or even drill presses) so the design should be as simple as possible and i was looking at the PrintNC design

since the plywood sheet is 1220mmX2440mm i was thinking to build it out of 1500mm steel RSTs (100*50*3.2mm) NEMA23 steppers, SFU2010 ball screws and 20mm HIWIN linear rails

although i upgraded some of the original design components here so it could carry the large dimensions

now I was thinking to leave some over hang with the RSTs supporting the Y axis (so I could tap some boards vertically)

could it increase the chance for vibrations? and how to mitigate it ?

Provided you keep the amount sensible then it won't vibrate, I build machines that hang the tool past the front by 90mm and it doesn't affect them at all.
-use common sense, if you lack it, there is no software to help that.
