    Hello All,

I'd like to ask if anyone has tried to extend a DDCS v3.1 controller?

Ideally I'd like to mount the controller in it's own separate control box at eye height while keeping the stepper drivers and power supplies etc in an enclosure under my CNC table.

I've seen some 37 way Male-to-Female cables and wondered if it would be worth a shot? I'd connect one end to the DDCS controller, then mount the DDCS breakout board in the driver enclosure. I'd probably want to use a 2m extension between the two.

Most cables seem to be rated at on or above 1A per contact so I don't think I'd overload the cable. It seems too simple, so their's must be a flaw in the plan!

    Thoughts?....
