    Thank you not getting much from ooznest one question i need to ask is why wont my bit fit in the collet its a mafell 1000 the bit is 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/2 x 5/2" and the collet is 1/4 3.65mm

    Is that a typo.? Because 1/4" is 6.35mm, not 3.65m. That would be closer to 1/8".

    When you say it won't fit, in what way doesn't it fit.? is too loose or too tight.?

    If it's too tight then I'd suspect the collet is metric 6mm, this would make it tight for getting in an imperial tool.
