Hi
I've been using a 4-axis TB6560 board for some years but it has now given up the ghost. The easiest solution would be to replace it by a similar TB6600 board but all the usual sources seem to be out of stock at present. Anyone know where I could find one?

Hmmm, 5 seconds on eBay, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255651412...cAAOSwNchaPMlN - replacement for your TB6560. Or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224967932...Bk9SR7K7-_77YA if you wanted the 6600 and to wait for China.
I could witter on about individual stepper drivers and separate BoB, but that's not your question.

Aliexpress?

Thanks Doddy but I am really looking for one of these:
as it would be (almost) a drop in replacement for the old TB6560 board but with better reliability. I found a couple of sellers on Aliexpress for that model at about £50 but both have nil stock.
I agree that separate drivers and a breakout board would be better, and easier to fix if one channel dies but it would mean making a new case for the electronics and would make a bigger dent in my pension income!

Found another supplier in China on ebay but also out of stock and 32 people following the item. I have emailed them to ask when they are likely to be back in stock. If that fails I may have to buy a breakout board and separate drivers

Thanks Lee, the machine is a Sieg SX2 Plus that I converted for cnc ten years ago. See my build thread http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/4524-...hlight=russell

Ahh yes I remember now, nice job on that :)
I just added your ballnut assembly .dxf to your last post there, so it is hosted here on the forum as well, just in case the mega link stops working, hope that's ok....Me

Thanks for that. The Dropbox links in many of the posts have vanished. That's the trouble with using free services.
Your concrete construction looks good. The SX2P is a lot smaller but suits me as my main interest is clockmaking after I discovered that three generations of my ancestors were clock and watchmakers and decided that I should revive the tradition. I think I'll get a TB6560 board to replace the current one and hope that it will see me out!
