Shame to wreck a perfectly good manual machine and throw ££££££££££££ at the conversion when you can but a genuine CNC with chrome slides, ballscrew, servo's and pressure oiling already done for you for £750

Plenty of older machines show up for not a lot of money, even with a dead controller you are pounds in against a conversion.

    Hello John S,
You're probably right if you say you can buy one cheap but who says you do not need a lot of money to get it running?
    Kind regards ,
    Andre

If you take it as you are just buying the iron and possible a few electrical bit then you are at exactly the same place as doing a manual conversion and having to build a controller.

  5. Don't try googling for 'Beaver'. Pages and pages, not a single machine tool....
