Hello to all members, I bought a small lathe some 2 years back and am now looking for a small milling machine with the object of converting it to CNC.

  2. Welcome croy.

Plenty of examples of conversions around here and on the net... what were you thinking of getting?

    What lathe have you got?

i have a myford ml7, replaced the old motor with a new 3 phase and installed a single to 3 phase inverter so i have speed control.

the machine is in very good condition so i've not had to have the bed reground. added a 4 jaw Pratt Burnerd chuck and a Bison quick change tool post.

i have my eye on the Sieg Super X3, but am very open to advice and sugestions
