    Hey guys,

We are currently looking for guys who have a cnc plasma cutter or even better a laser.

The job is to cut 20 of each flange and then the same file again without the ID

The cut must be smooth as these are manways and personel are climbing in and out of them.

The material that is to be used is 10mm mild steel.

Can i just say.. and this is very important! we can go through 40 complete manways in 1 MONTH if not sooner!!!! this could be a great little paying job for someone. but MUST complete on time.

reason i am posting here is because our current supplier is starting to get a bit sloppy and im a fair beliver of giving people a chance!

to download the file please click here

If you are interested in this job or have any questions please contact me VIA PM

    Regards
    Derek

    Hi D-man
Could you not make the ring in two halves and weld them back together?
It would save you a lot in material costs.
If you made them as shown 40 of each would use approx. 14 sheets of 3000 x 1500
If you split the ring it would save you approx. 4 sheets of material
    Just a thought......

Why don't you tout the drawing round a few companies and compare prices.
It's highly unlikely that anyone of this forum has a machine big enough or the capability to handle full sized 10mm plate.

    Piece of cake, a 3000mm x 1500mm x 10mm sheet only weighs 354kg (780lb)

    OK Andy,

I'll leave it up to you to buy and handle 14 plates, only 4.8 tonnes
