Sorry you posted at the same time, (I thought the SBR was the carriage, didn't realize it had a different rail as well) That will work but remember you need two rails with supported rails as there is no rotational Resistance to them. do 2 rails and carrages equal 1 hiwin for cost?

I will do a calculation to see which is the lightest ( and also the cheapest!)do 2 rails and carrages equal 1 hiwin for cost?
This is a quick model of the Gantry I have knocked up with the SBR16 mounted on two 30 x 60 Extrusions
