Thread: Y axis anyone?

  2. 35mm dia... good for a mill table replacement screw, much too big for a CNC router, you'd waste too much motor torque on screw inertia to get any reasonable speeds... and 10mm pitch might need gearing down too

Can't see the relevance of the link.
It's a screw for the Y or Z on a large servo driven machine hence 35mm diameter and 10mm pitch.
Reserve not met auction from a dealer who's known for not giving anything away.

Again Why the random S**T? Its not really helping anyone is it, and I would consider a Y Axis to comprise of linear rails with mounts, ball screw and possibly a motor. NO ?

    Sorry Mods,

Are you looking to buy this George? Note that the far end does not appear to be machined, but it might be the angle of the photo.
