    Didn't sell at £495
    Problem is there are loads of these about and by the time you have thrown professional rigging at it you are on a looser to start.

    I used to buy Bridgeport Boss 's, easier machines to do as they were on steppers. the Hurco's are on high voltage analogue servo's and the drivers for these for step and direction output are very pricey. Last two Boss's I got, I got for free but by the time they had been collected, gutted and converted there was no profit in it.

  2. May well be the case John if you're doing it for profit, but if I had the room I'd consider something like that or a Bridgeport. Point about servos is valid, tho I'd look to build a step/direction interface to the existing drivers if they were OK.
