    Hi Guy's (and any ladies)
    Located North West UK
Have been contemplating build a CNC Router for some time but never got round to it and could really do with something that will take an 8'x4' sheet of material so the cost is going to be substantial.
the goal is to manufacture a staircase from profiles sections of plywood and the profiles really need a CNC for the accuracy, will be asking lots of questions.
    Regards
    Mike

  2. Hi Mike and welcome to the site. Ask away, we're here to help (some say to confuse, but we try!)

  3. Hi Mike
please reconsider,,, to buy a second hand one from an auction house would be quicker. Why reinvent the wheel when it is there to use. we tried it once, and the bits are still on a pile (factory has closed now) it is not economical (IMHO)

    Hi Tony
You could have a very valid point, i have been looking @ the price of the linear rails and ballscrews and these seem overprice for what they are. Was hoping to catch a bargain on e-bay for bits but most adds seem to be from traders.
Not spent any money yet and have an open(some would say empty)mind.
    Thanks for your thoughts.
    Regards
    Mike
