Hi Chums

I want to make a SMT pick and place tool. This means cutting some fiddly star wheels for the tape feeders. Star wheels with a pawl on the boss and a very concentric bore.

I'm going to do them from 3mm compo sheet and hang the expense, makes it so easy.

Thought I might glue a 12" x 6" sheet to an MDF backboard and cut a bunch of them in one sitting.

Not hugely keen on double sided tape, creeps, may pick up on the tool and wind out.

With about 1.2 square inches of glue to resist a 1 to 1.5mm tool you'd think any glue would do, but I can't seem to make my mind up, never had much faith in glue, strictly a nut and bolt man.

Very open to suggestions, any experiences would be a bonus
