    Hello, my name is Danny.
I am a joiner, furniture maker living and working in Kent.
I have a joinery shop in Higham. Most of my work is one off bespoke stuff.
I want to build a CNC router. It needs to be able to cut 3m lenghtwise. Not
sure about the width though. I have a wall saw which handles 10 x 5 sheets.
I was thinking that as long as it was wide enough to cut Corian, 760mm and drill/groove
my tall carcass sides, a metre wide would suffice. Any thoughts...

    Danny

  2. Hi Danny and welcome to the site. 3m long needs some careful design but I'm sure we'll be able to come up with some suggestions. I suggest you post your requirements/thoughts in the General Discussion forum to get a wider response....

    Hi Dan

I thought I'd say hello, seeing as I am only a few miles away in Strood.

I have a small macine (600mm x 500mm) but I am a good way into the construction of a larger machine (2000mm x 1100) although not as long as the one you are planning. If you want to see my machine or discuss your plans in person, feel free to PM me.
