    Buying British

I’ve been looking for parts for the power supply I’m building at the moment and have got to the point of putting the case together but I need two volt meters and two ammeters to finish the job, what I was wondering was is there any English companies around that actually make moving coil panel meters any more, it would be easy to just get the cheap Chinese ones but I’m trying to do my bit for my country here and I rather like the idea of local products.

I doubt that you will find a meter actually made in UK as most have shipped production abroad.
