Hello Everyone,

I have an interest in building a three axis wood router for my work building guitars. I will be reconfiguring a very interesting machine formerly used by NASA here in the States. It was built for heat pressing plastic materials together, and is very sturdy, with XYZ axes all made with ball screws and ball pillow block bearings. The conversion should go smoothly, I think. The challenge will be to learn the motors and electronics to run it all. I hope to learn from you all.

Hi there and welcome to the site. That does sound an interesting project and I'm sure we'll be able to help with the challenge of retrofitting motors/drivers. Look forward to your forthcoming build thread!
