Hi there. I am an architect thinking of starting a modelmaking business. I've always been pretty good at handmade architectural models, but many clients expect greater detail and increased accuracy - and there's a limit to what can be done with a craft knife! I am thinking of buying a table-mounted Heiz S-1000 to get started.

  2. Hi Matt and welcome to the site. The idea of using CNC to do architectural models (and landscapes) has been discussed here before and there are a couple of members interested in the same thing. I'm sure they'll introduce themselves in due course..

Thanks for the reply and warm welcome. I look forward to picking lots of brains...
