    Hi all,

I have an X2 Mill and Warco BV-20 lathe in a small workshop (shed!). The mill already has a Shumatech 350 DRO but I was looking to CNC it one day. I am just starting to fit an ELS to the lathe so this will probably not be CNC'd. My main CNC interest is in building a desktop router. I am aiming for something that will range from PCB work to light metal use.

I look forward to participating in the forum.

    Len

  2. Hi Len and welcome to the site. Our first member of 2011  Plenty of ideas, info and help to support you in your endeavour. Interesting about the ELS... I looked at this once but got the impression that the idea had been quietly dropped?

    Thanks irving2008!

The ELS I referred to is John Dammeyer's http://www.autoartisans.com/ELS/ .
    There's also a Yahoo Group at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/E-LeadScrew/

It will meet my lathe needs for a while
