    Hello folks,

I appreciate it's a bit of a noob questions but....

Which end of the ballscrew does the fixed support go and which end does the simple support go (in relation to the stepper motor)?

    Cheers for the help,

    Fixed to motor
as a rule yes, iv gone the other way with my y axis (driving it from the floating end) it makes for a much simpler tider assembly in my opinion.
the flexible coupler absorbs any exspansion of the screw (600mm) iv had no problems with it so far
