Salary: up to £29,343 +OT
As an integral part of this world class engineering development and manufacturing business you will provide maintenance, servicing, and installation support for all plant, machinery and equipment.
You will maintain all CNC machinery conducting fault-finding, diagnosis and essential repair to all equipment. In line with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) you will undertake machine servicing whilst also providing breakdown cover as necessary.
You will contribute and comply with company procedures in line with HS&E considerations and ensuring all appropriate work reports are completed, liaising with facilities colleagues to uphold safe working practices for operation and maintenance of machinery.
Ideally educated in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering you will have demonstrable maintenance experience across a range of precision engineering machinery primarily CNC equipment. You will hold 17th Edition certification and relevant inspection, testing and fault-finding accreditations. Extensive understanding of machine tool fault diagnosis and repair is essential alongside the ability to operate effectively and efficiently on your own initiative.
In addition you may have an appreciation for hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and an understanding of ladder programs/PLC programs.
