    Hi,

I was hoping to update the cam software for my Sei 810 personnel router but I don't seem to be able to find a post processor for it, which seems to rule out cut2d bobcam ect.
Fortunately I do seem to have made some progress with Sei's cam program although it does run in dos which isn't ideal. What I could do with is a very easy program for generating simple 2d dxf files which will enable me to have a play with the machine and deciede whether to put up with the ancient cam program or update the electronics on the machine.

    Thanks,
    Paul

  2. Serif's Drawplus is a useful and accurate vector drawing tool with multiple export options, including DXF.

    There's a free version here:

(They're a UK firm. If you register the trial version, they'll usually send you a substantial discount offer for the full version)

    Paul,

First off the good news, you don't have to buy a program to do what you want.
there are loads of free ones out there that will do all you need.

One good free program is Draftsight, do a Google, downside is it takes a bit of learing but there are loads of video's on Youtube.

Possible the easiest is one called Deltacad, http://www.deltacad.com
$40 to buy but you get 30 days free and if you reinstall it you get another 30 days.

Give this one a try first, it is easy to use.
