Does anyone know a good and reliable SKF Linear Actuators distributor somewhere in the North England?

Don't know of any in north England, but a good one in North America that should be able to give you a good deal would be Progressive Automations. Give them a call i know they have amazing shipping rates and might be able to meet your needs.

    Good luck!

Thanks for your advice, they do look pretty good, but to avoid such far distance shipping i think i may go for this supplier:

not sure about their prices yet, if more expensive i may go with the one you recommended. :naughty:

  4. Also check out http://www.timotion.com/ as they have offices and distributors all over the world.

I guess you're after accessibility. Anyway, I'm not sure about Northern England, but there are a lot of foreign companies you can source parts from, and you can really have wider options if you do so. I agree with one of the previous answers with regard to Progressive Automations, as they are an established brand when it comes to linear actuators. You can also try checking out Power Jack Motion, they also have a good range of linear actuators.

The main people I used to deal with were LC Automation, rs-online, Farnell, Keyance.

Spelling mistakes are not intentional, I only seem to see them some time after I've posted
