    Already have, though not in those words...my 'supervisor', who has been there 3 years, said they hardly ever pass the test. From what little I saw they seem to be well within the ratings. One time they did have the generator catch fire due to a 'foreign body' - apparently it looked like a Catherine wheel.

    No, you need those words, they have a meaning on generators and large diesels.

    Hmm I found the following quote:

    But there's not really any pistons involved with this...

    Yes I am. Oh I see, the generators are tested with an induction motor not an engine.

    Right.....

    Just that Cummins is the largest Diesel engine manufacture in the world.
