    Hi

I'm intending using one of the cheapo Chinese machines with EMC2 to extend my pattern making capabilities. It looks like I'm on a steep learning curve so watch out for loads of questions.

Thanks; but I tried that and can find no Open or Proprietary drivers for ATI Rage. I've read these aren't the easiest so I may need to look for alternative H/W.

P.S. I just love your Avatar,

I would try on ATI's website, they are usually a problem from install but the drivers should go straight in if you load it separately.

OK that problem is now solved and EMC2 is working as it should. Now I'd like some opinions, with reasons, on what 3/4 axis mill to buy with a working area similar to

    or
